Filipe was born in Ericeira. At the age of 6 he moved to Lisbon, a city that he knows from east to west. Filipe loves living, travelling and experiencing the world through friendships. Filipe worked as a salesman and an IT programmer, but it was his passion for travelling and for Portugal that lead him to found Different Portugal a travel company in 2011 and Cooking Lisbon in 2013. Both brands aim to provide unique and unforgettable moments to our visitors, or friends as Filipe likes to call them.

Carina left everything behind and pursued her dream of becoming a chef Instructor.

After a few years of a career in digital marketing and absorbing books and cooking programs, he decided to follow his passion and took a professional cooking and pastry course.

She grew up in the middle of cooking and pastry, through his mother, a chef, and his father, a pastry shop owner, from an early age she remembers the smell of freshly baked cakes or the services that his mother provided, while playing with his brother in the restaurant of your parents.

What she likes to do most is teach others how to cook and share the history of traditional Portuguese food, which is why she found her dream job at Cooking Lisbon!
