FILIPE

Founder & Owner
Filipe was born in Ericeira. At the age of 6 he moved to Lisbon, a city that he knows from east to west. Filipe loves living, travelling and experiencing the world through friendships. Filipe worked as a salesman and an IT programmer, but it was his passion for travelling and for Portugal that lead him to found Different Portugal a travel company in 2011 and Cooking Lisbon in 2013. Both brands aim to provide unique and unforgettable moments to our visitors, or friends as Filipe likes to call them.
MIGUEL

Chef - Instructor
Marco was born in the Ribatejo area but lived most of his life in the Algarve and Lisbon. A true lover of food, he always participates in cooking classes wherever his travels take him. Travels to countries in 4 different continents has exposed him to the flavours and cooking techniques of many cultures. This experience has made him an expert in artfully combining flavours and textures to create unique and memorable fusion cuisine. His easy going demeanor immediately puts guests at ease in preparation for a gastronomic experience.
FERNANDA

Assistant
Fernanda Pereira has worked in the food sector over the past 20 years. Reserved and focused on her work, her attention to small details makes her a valuable addition to the Cooking Lisbon team. She always ensures that Cooking Lisbon is ready for the next guests.
She is known for her love of cooking and makes the best Rice Pudding in the World!
JOANA

Chef - Instructor
Joana, a food lover. Having an entire academic career in the culinary field since a very young age. "Mother" of 2 French Bulldogs who share a lot of photos on social media. Disciplined, focused and with a passion for teaching the most diverse techniques.
